Hey Consilium Family and Happy New Year! Today we’re going across the state to chat about Noelle and Robbie’s wedding weekend at the Inn at Mystic. This venue really checked all of the boxes for this couple- historic charm, proximity for both families, a location they could make a weekend from, and location on the water. When I first spoke with Noelle, she described her vision as aligned with coastal grandma, but she really elevated it, so her style became more of a coastal elegance and charm.
There were so many personalized details that really made this event stand out and I can’t wait to highlight some of them for you. Let’s start with the ceremony- Noelle’s brother played guitar as she processed in with her parents to an arch adorned with locally grown florals, including some of the largest dahlias we’ve ever seen. Robbie’s aunt was the officiant, and during the ceremony, a family of local deer came out of the woods to feast from an apple tree nearby. It really couldn’t have been a more picturesque moment.
Guests were welcomed to cocktail hour by a local oyster farm shucking over 300 fresh oysters for guests (they even returned later that night with a bag of oysters for the bride and groom to take home). Noelle and Natalie worked on an alternative escort card display with buoys that Noelle hand painted for each guest. Natalie created a three-part display with the buoys that served as the focal point for the cocktail hour space. The sunset over the rocky coast during the reception did not disappoint, but a special performance really had the guests on their feet.
Both Noelle and Robbie come from musical families who came together for an amazing performance. The crowd went wild when Robbie joined in to sing the second verse. Their night ended with an after party at another location at the inn with a rocking dueling piano performance. It was an amazing weekend filled with love, music, and fun. Congratulations to Noelle and Robbie!
