Today I’m so excited to share some details from Allie and Chris’ wedding at the Roger Sherman Inn. This couple wanted to make their wedding weekend intimate and personal for their family so they rented the inn and invited everyone to celebrate on site with them.

One of the most special moments leading up to their ceremony was their first touch, which took place on the expansive front porch. With love, energy and anticipation building for the moments to come, Allie and Chris shared their vows. Shortly after, their beautiful outdoor ceremony was threatened by a spring downpour, but the weather cleared and the sun came out just in time.

Following a cocktail hour on the porch and terrace, guests were welcomed to the reception space which was filled with natural light and romantic florals. Allie and Chris surprised their guests with a beautiful, choreographed first dance (it was a total wow moment). The dance party continued throughout the reception, so family and friends were happy to enjoy pizza and snacks during the after party that took place in the bar. We had an amazing day celebrating this couple’s love and it was so evident how special Allie and Chris are to their friends and family. Congratulations to Allie and Chris!
